Dr. Nazeli Tarjan, DDS has a youthful energy and lightheartedness that allow her to have a special connection with each of her patients, making her one of the top dentists in downtown Denver. During your appointment, you can expect to be listened to and fully understood, as Dr. Tarjan takes all the time necessary to hear you out. Whether you are concerned with the color of your teeth or are interested in a full smile makeover, Dr. Tarjan will spend time with you to ensure that she has a thorough understanding of your treatment preferences and your comfort level. With Dr. Tarjan, you can look forward to plenty of one-on-one attention, full explanations of dental procedures, and answers to all questions that you might have. Patients have described Dr. Tarjan’s progressive approach to Denver dental care as bright, fresh, and gentle, and they commonly remark that they love her friendly personality. Dr. Tarjan has an ever-growing passion for her work and genuinely seeks to improve the lives of her patients. Prior to becoming a renowned dentist in downtown Denver, Dr. Tarjan is originally from Iran and moved to the United States with her family in 2000. She lived in Iowa for nine years, where she attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry after getting her Bachelors Degree in Psychology.
She began her career practicing in Colorado Springs, gaining lots of experience in state-of-the-art restorative and cosmetic dentistry. In 2012, she moved to Denver, where she mainly cared for under-served children and families. She is now the owner of the local dentist office ICON Dental located in downtown Denver where she hopes to meet you and care for your smile!
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, including her husband, Dan, sons, Ari & Ryo, and their Great Dane, Mini. She also enjoys cooking, traveling, painting, and spending time outdoors. She looks to provide you with an excellent dental experience every time.
Dr. Brandon Nguyen DDS
Dr. Brandon Nguyen DDS has an approachable and outgoing allure that makes it easy for any patient to feel at ease and taken care of. During your treatment with Dr. Nguyen, you can expect to not only come out feeling confident about your overall dental health but feel like you were taken care of and listened to. Whether it’s a routine check-up or smile over-haul he looks forward to spending time with his patients and getting to know them. He believes in a forward-looking approach to his oral health and this comes from growing up in a Vietnamese family where dental care was not a priority and witnessed the discomfort his close family and friends endured.
Dr. Nguyen grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, and attended Arizona State University for his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and then was accepted into the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. During this time, he interned and shadowed at many dental offices and traveled to Mexico to assist in a dental outreach program that treated high-risk dental cases. After graduation and obtaining his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, he has adapted to the Colorado lifestyle and traded in his skateboard for a snowboard, his family’s Chihuahua obsession for Bernese Mountain Dogs, and Palm trees for Evergreens.
In his free time, he enjoys discovering a new snowboard run on his IKON pass, dominating the court in his volleyball leagues, finding a new favorite pho restaurant, the next Red Rocks concert, and jumping on a plane to a new destination. He looks forward to providing you with outstanding care and finding commonalities with all of his patients.
